Job DetailsAvli is looking for a full-time and part-time line cooks. SummaryAvli Restaurants are creative Greek, where tradition meets contemporary elegance and guests experience our core philosophies of Philoxenia (hospitality), Kefi (joy), and Meraki (passion).We welcome you in to live and enjoy life through our classic and contemporary Greek dishes, lively beverage program, and an ambiance that reflects life in Greece.Our ideal candidate will have the following skills: Positive attitudePunctualityExperience working the hotlineExperience cooking seafood and proteinsDesire to learn culinary techniquesMaintain high culinary standard from preparation to platingDaily set and prepare stationJob Duties: Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.Prepare all food items for the daily menu and specials in a sanitary and timely manner.Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.Ability to read and interpret abbreviations on food order tickets.Responsible for the correct food presentation of each plated item.Restock items as needed throughout shift.Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.May perform other duties as assigned.Job Schedule: Must be available to work various hours, days, and shifts, including nights and weekends.
