Travel Nurse Practitioner – Hematology/Oncology
Syracuse, NY
Job Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 13-week acute care travel assignment. Candidate will collaborate with physicians to manage oncology patient care in an inpatient/outpatient hospital setting.
Schedule- Day Shift: 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- 40 hours/week
- 13-week contract
- Pay Rate: $52–$62/hour (Depending on Experience)
- Active NP license (NY)
- Oncology / Hematology experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- Strong acute care experience
- Ability to work independently in hospital setting
- Patient assessments (oncology/hematology cases)
- Develop & manage care plans with physicians
- Documentation (SOAP notes)
- Patient education & counseling
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Monitor treatment response & adjust plans
