Payroll/Labor Compliance Clerk

We are seeking a Payroll/Labor Compliance Clerk to join our team in Fontana, CA. This is an immediate need due to a recent resignation and offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain payroll records, with a focus on construction payroll and certified payroll reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations
• Assist with labor compliance documentation, audits, and reporting requirements
• Review and verify employee timekeeping and payroll data for accuracy
• Maintain organized payroll and compliance records
• Support internal teams with payroll-related inquiries and requests
• Utilize Excel to prepare reports, analyze data, and maintain tracking spreadsheets

Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience required, preferably within the construction industry
• Experience processing certified payroll and working with labor compliance requirements
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
