Freelance B2B Marketing Copywriter

Part-Time | Freelance / Contract | Fully Remote We are seeking an experienced Marketing Copywriter for a part-time freelance opportunity supporting an established organization in the engineering, construction, and industrial solutions space. This role is ideal for a creative, strategic writer who excels at transforming complex products, services, and technical concepts into clear, compelling, and customer-focused marketing content. The organization already has dedicated technical writing expertise in place, so the focus of this position will be on marketing storytelling, brand messaging, and developing engaging copy that communicates value to customers and prospects. The ideal candidate understands B2B marketing, can write for both technical and nontechnical audiences, and knows how to balance industry credibility with approachable, persuasive messaging. Key Responsibilities Develop compelling marketing copy for a variety of print and digital channels, including websites, email campaigns, brochures, sales collateral, presentations, and other marketing materials. Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, benefit-driven messaging for customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders. Partner with marketing teams, technical subject-matter experts, and internal stakeholders to understand products, services, and customer needs. Create and refine brand messaging, product positioning, and value propositions. Write and edit marketing content that supports brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and sales initiatives. Develop case studies, customer success stories, and thought leadership content that highlight real-world applications and business value. Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across marketing materials. Review and refresh existing content to improve clarity, engagement, and effectiveness. Manage multiple writing assignments independently while meeting project deadlines and incorporating stakeholder feedback. Qualifications 4+ years of professional marketing copywriting or B2B content writing experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating compelling marketing copy across multiple channels. Experience writing for B2B audiences, ideally within engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial products, infrastructure, or related industries. Proven ability to simplify technical subject matter and communicate customer benefits without sacrificing accuracy. Strong understanding of brand voice, positioning, and persuasive marketing messaging. Experience developing website copy, email campaigns, sales collateral, case studies, and other marketing content. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with technical experts and marketing stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage freelance assignments independently.
