Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
About the Position
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients, interpret and treat dysrhythmias in a fast-paced admission unit.
- Provide nursing care for admitted patients while coordinating transfers to progressive care units.
- Float as needed to Emergency Department, ICU, and PCU to support patient care demands.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and ensure adherence to unit protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-timers accepted
- Skills: Telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required
- Float: Required to float to ED, ICU (SAC assignment), and PCU as needed
- Local & License: No locals accepted within 75 miles; pending license accepted
