Children's Reference Assistant/Programmer

Position Description: The Poplar Creek Public Library District is looking for an energetic, FUN, and customer-service oriented individual to act as a part-time bilingual Reference Assistant/Programmer for our busy Children’s Department. Duties include presenting Spanish-language programs in the library, working out-reach events, and helping Spanish-speaking patrons find answers to their questions. Assistant may also be asked to help out with school visits, or other programming. Minimum Qualifications: LTA 2-year degree or 4-year degree in a relevant field. The ability to read and write proficiently in Spanish/English.
