Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bartlett, IL

Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, working with school-aged students and making a tangible difference in their lives. This contract position offers the chance to support growth and independence in children while collaborating with a supportive educational team. Positions are available in three different locations, each requiring 15 hours per week, allowing for a balanced schedule and meaningful engagement with your students.


Three positions are currently available:

• Lake in the Hills, IL: Serve a caseload of 20 students
• Morton Grove, IL: Work with 20 students
• Rockford, IL: Caseload to be determined

What we're looking for:

• Valid OT or COTA licensure for the state of Illinois
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Skilled in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Compassion, patience, and creativity in helping students achieve their fullest potential

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and report findings
• Develop and implement IEP goals, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct intervention and consultation services for students with a range of needs
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services provided
• Educate families and school personnel on strategies and accommodations
• Adapt interventions to suit students' diverse backgrounds and unique abilities
