Elementary School Occupational Therapist | Elgin, Illinois

This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with paid orientation on August 4-5 and students returning August 10 through May 25. What you'll bring:

• Valid or eligible Illinois OT/COTA state license
• Experience in school-based OT, particularly at the elementary level, is beneficial

Key responsibilities:

• Support student participation in classroom activities through fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skill building
• Modify tasks and environments to meet individual student needs
• Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as needed
• Prepare thorough, insightful reports based on student observations and evaluations
• Develop IEP objectives and accommodations, maintaining ongoing student records
• Collaborate with parents and educational staff to share progress and strategize interventions
