This contract opportunity is designed for a dynamic individual eager to make an impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. You'll work with both middle and high school students, collaborating with an educational team near Elgin, IL. With a Monday through Thursday schedule from 7:45am–12:15pm, you’ll enjoy a rewarding position that offers work-life balance. Key Qualifications: Valid OT or COTA credentials (school-based experience preferred) Demonstrated ability to work with middle and high school students Passion for fostering student growth and engagement in school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Willingness and availability to work the designated ESY period Key Responsibilities: Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to students’ individual goals Conduct assessments and generate relevant reports to support IEPs Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student participation Promote self-advocacy and functional skills in academic environments Adapt equipment and modify environments to promote success for all learners This ESY-only opportunity allows you to help students maximize their independence and growth, while enjoying a consistent morning schedule and the flexibility of contract work.
