Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2148.80/week - Job Summary: Provide advanced perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a busy Level I Trauma Center. The OR RN will assist in all facets of operative and perioperative care within a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are ready for procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth and efficient surgeries across various specialties. Monitor patient vital signs and apply aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Assist in scrubbing and circulating during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and proper procedure flow. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records, including EPIC. Respond quickly to intraoperative emergencies and provide support during trauma and complex surgeries. Qualifications: Hold a valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license. Possess a minimum of 2 years of perioperative or OR nursing experience, with scrub skills preferred. Maintain current BLS certification; Radiation Badge required (agency-provided). Demonstrate experience in Level 1 trauma and specialized surgical procedures such as Transplant, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics. Ability to float within scope to various units or sister facilities as needed. Willing to work 4x10 hour days, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
