Warehouse Associate/Material Handler - 1st Shift

Due to an internal promotion, we're looking to add a full time Material Handler/Warehouse Associate to their team on 1st shift. You will be responsible for efficiently pulling parts for orders, shipping and receiving product, assisting in inventory counts, moving stock throughout the system, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.


Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Ship product per defined expectations for carriers.
• Receive product.
• Safely operate Forklift.
• Pick orders.
• Stock inventory.
• Optimize shelving capacity.
• Communicate with external providers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.

If you have:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of work experience.
• Strong comprehension of verbal and written work expectations.
• Able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Forklift experience is helpful
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful
• Understanding of logistics costs and decision making.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.
• Detail oriented; motivated to provide the highest level of quality.
• Familiar with Microsoft office tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and web applications.
• A great attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Details:
1st shift, full time: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
Contract to hire opportunity.
Starting pay rate: $19/hour with excellent benefits and growth potential after hire.
