Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining electrical drawing packages for low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution equipment. This role supports the design and manufacture of switchgear, switchboards, and related assemblies by developing accurate single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel and equipment layouts, and associated bills of materials (BOM). The position requires strong electrical drafting and design skills, proficiency with CAD tools used for schematics and electromechanical design, and the ability to convert customer requirements, internal standards, and engineering intent into clear manufacturing and customer-facing documentation.

• Develop and maintain electrical drawing packages for low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution equipment.
• Support the design and manufacture of switchgear, switchboards, and related assemblies.
• Create accurate single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel and equipment layouts, and associated BOMs.
• Convert customer requirements, internal standards, and engineering intent into clear documentation.
• Use CAD tools for schematic and electromechanical design.

• 2+ years of experience in electrical drawing packages for industrial control, power distribution, or similar equipment
• Experience with PDM, PLM, ERP, or similar data management tools

• Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or a related field preferred
• Equivalent practical experience will be considered
• 2 years designing or documenting low-voltage or medium-voltage power distribution equipment
• Experience creating or supporting 3D layouts of electrical equipment, components, panels, and wiring

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
