Position Responsibilities Recruit, lead, coach and retain a high‑performing operations team (~15‑18 direct reports). Effectively manage day‑to‑day operations to keep processes running safely, smoothly and efficiently. Investigate process excursions/deviations and production issues using Six Sigma tools to implement corrective actions and eliminate root causes. Design reporting standards for operational metrics and process KPIs to drive efficiencies and employee experience. Work cross‑functionally with multiple teams to deliver the highest quality of viral antigens and provide the team with necessary tools, resources and support. Assist with technical projects and take the manufacturing lead role in coordinating, preparing documents and introducing new production processes and site‑to‑site transfers. Maintain state‑of‑the‑art competence on technological developments and recommend equipment or process enhancements to improve efficiency, safety and competitiveness. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree. Willingness to learn day‑to‑day. Ability to teach others new skills daily. Preferred: BS in Biological Sciences or related field. Relevant experience in biological manufacturing and/or aseptic manufacturing. Physical Position Requirements Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, steam, temperature fluctuations, and biohazards. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
