Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for Special Education
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly at the high school level
- Strong understanding of resource classroom management and IEP implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver differentiated instruction in a resource classroom environment to support diverse learning needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth
