Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Secure major gifts of $50,000 and above for Henry Ford Health
• Provide leadership and direct management to major gift officer(s)
• Identify major gift prospects and develop solicitation strategies in collaboration with Development Office staff, Department/Program leadership, physician leaders, and key stakeholders
• Support the organization's fundraising objectives through strategic relationship building and donor engagement

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree from four-year College. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in major gift fundraising, planned gift fundraising or related sales experience required. Experience securing six-figure and seven-figure gifts required. Experience in raising high six-figure and seven (7) figure gifts preferred. Leadership or direct management experience within a development or sales organization preferred.
