Job Description

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence and financial planning alignment. Mentor and supervise accounting staff to enhance team performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline. MBA, CPA, or advanced degree strongly preferred. Progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience. Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting principles. Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage high-performing teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
