Retail Staff Pharmacist in Columbus, OH

This position offers an opportunity to perform as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy environment located in Columbus, OH. The role is a 13-week temp-to-hire assignment, providing a clear pathway to direct hire for the right candidate.


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Environment and Team:

• Retail pharmacy setting with an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 per day
• Supportive team including 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists
• Utilization of Prime RX software for order entry

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and dispense prescription medications
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication use and safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Prime RX software considered a plus
• Possession of an active Ohio pharmacy technician license
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing significant prescription volume
