What You’ll Be Doing Work with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to inspire, motivate, and lead the front‑of‑house team to achieve excellent guest satisfaction; ensure standards are maintained and guest needs are anticipated. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain complete knowledge of all restaurant policies, service procedures, and standards. Ensure staff understand company goals and the action plans to achieve them. Communicate with the General Manager regarding restaurant matters. Submit work orders for repairs and follow up to ensure timely completion. Enforce policies and procedures fairly and equitably. Continuously review operations and recommend enhancements. Assist in implementing new policies, SOPs, and initiatives. Be available on the floor to assist staff and interact with guests. Enforce cost‑control procedures and monitor waste and breakage. Maintain the reservation system and ensure the receptionist follows seating guidelines. Conduct monthly equipment inventories per company policy. Review food and beverage costs and consumptions against financial targets. Ensure revenues and expenses are recorded against the appropriate budget; document variations. Monitor revenue reports for accuracy. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Guest Service Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene. Adhere to agreed standards of food service during all service periods. Respond promptly to all guest requests and queries. Handle guest complaints and comments positively and learn from them. Seek and analyze guest feedback, including Mystery Diner reports. People Management Build and maintain an efficient team; drive towards business objectives. Adhere strictly to personnel budgets. Recruit and select employees to meet staffing levels. Develop a learning culture; ensure team members feel valued and rewarded. Produce employee schedules aligned with business needs. Ensure new employees attend orientation. Promote training and development; monitor standards. Manage performance through feedback and appraisals. Handle disciplinary and grievance issues. Monitor grooming and personal hygiene of staff. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, upscale dining or hospitality environment. Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and guest satisfaction. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including scheduling and inventory. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Physical capability to lift, move, or push goods up to 15 pounds and navigate uneven terrain or confined spaces. Tolerance for varying levels of noise, temperature, and illumination.
