Legal Administrative Specialist

If selected for this position, you will serve as a Legal Administrative Specialist responsible for performing a variety of complex litigation support tasks necessary to prepare or manage electronic discovery, evidence, exhibits, and other electronically stored information relevant to investigations and casework. The complexity or volume of the electronic case materials requires analysis and selection of different processes. This work requires technical knowledge and skill in handling electronic case materials, which must be organized, processed, reviewed, produced in discovery, and presented in court. Typical work assignments will include:

• Performing a variety of litigation support tasks necessary to process complex and/or voluminous electronically stored information and preparing it for review or production by the litigation team.
• Consulting with litigation team members to understand case needs and technical requirements.
• Evaluating electronic files, including their type, size, and format, in connection with developing a plan for their handling and management.
• Developing a plan for processing electronic files consistent with case team and technical requirements.
• Using software applications to extract electronic case materials from storage devices or download electronic case materials from secure file transfer sites.
• Generating complex electronic discovery productions (e.g., Bates-numbered images with redactions and searchable text or industry standard load files) that comply with production specifications and deadlines, including productions from document review databases or productions from specified criteria.
• Providing guidance to litigation teams on best practices and strategies for organizing, storing, reviewing, producing, and presenting electronic case materials.
