We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate.Duties/Responsibilities:Receive incoming correspondence via email and hard copy and prepare for processing into the payment systemRoute invoices to appropriate individuals for approvalDirect communication with customers and others in organization to resolve problemsReceive incoming correspondence and sort for distributionProcess daily ACH payments on a deadlineProcess twice weekly check runsEnter tax vouchers for payment via ACH and check on a strict deadlineComplete data entry required by positionAnswer phone daily with vendor questions about payment and general concernsCross training within the department to act as backup as neededWork schedule is Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pmQualifications:10-key, data entry speed combined with accuracyUsage and/or familiarity with computerized accounting software package a plus, not requiredStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesAttention to detail and follow through to completionAdjusts well to structured proceduresExcellent customer service and vendor relation skillsAbility to communicate internally and externally to research and resolve issueAbility to manage deadlinesStrong attention to detail is imperativeExperience working in a fast-paced environment preferredRequirements:Accounts Payable or equivalent related experience preferredAbility to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlinesSome college a plus, but not requiredWhat will make you stand out:2 + years Accounts Payable or equivalent related experienceExperience using accounting softwarePositive attitude with outstanding communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.Apply at #J-18808-Ljbffr
