Project Accountant

A national general contractor is looking to add a Project Accountant to their team. The Project Accountant is responsible for reconciling and maintaining accurate and complete project accounting records. Ideally, the Project Accountant has experience with AIA billing.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Project Kick-Off Meeting with Project Management Team and Estimating TeamProcess Monthly Client AIA G702/G703 Pay Applications through Procore/SAGE softwareManaging Subcontractor Project AIA Invoicing through Procore/SAGE softwareAccounts Receivable & AR Collections: Follow up with clients on outstanding pay applicationsAssist the CFO with weekly Subcontractor paymentsAssist CFO with the month-end closing processComplete project financial closeout upon completion of the projectGeneral Conditions expense monitoringMonthly Project Financial reviews with Project Managers and CFOPerform other duties as assigned by the CFOQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance xhyhwjd or similar field5+ years' experience related to the Construction Project Accountant RoleAIA billing experience preferredNYC and NYS public agency billing preferredSage 300 & Procore Software experience preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills
