Brenda Thompson - State Farm Agency located in Moss Point, MS has an immediate opening for a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative. Salary Range: $45,000 - $75,000 (base hourly pay + commissions)

1. Must have an active Property and Casualty license
2. Must be local, this is an in-office position and you must be able to make the commute to our Moss Point, MS office location.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license required
• Life and Health insurance license required
• Bilingual a plus!
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
