We host informative, fun sessions and celebrations that are often open to the entire organization.Position Summary:We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve our cloud infrastructure and deployment systems on AWS. Reporting to the DevOps Manager, this role requires solid hands-on experience with infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability, along with growing ownership of services and systems.You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable deployments, scalable systems, and strong operational practices across ECS, EKS, and EC2-based workloads.This role is expected to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity, enhance decision-making, and continuously optimize how work is performed.This will be a full-time, permanent position working out of the San Diego office on a hybrid model (3-days per week in the office).What You'll Be Doing:Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable application deploymentsManage and improve AWS infrastructure across ECS, EKS, and EC2 environmentsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using TerraformMonitor system health and performance using Grafana and supporting observability toolsTroubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in staging and production environmentsCollaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows and system reliabilitySupport containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)Implement and maintain logging, alerting, and incident response processesContribute to cost optimization and performance tuning within AWSMaintain clear documentation for infrastructure, processes, and runbooksLeverage AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement while ensuring the responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI tools.Use AI-assisted tooling to draft, refactor, and review Terraform modules and Kubernetes/ECS manifests, improving delivery speed while maintaining quality and security standardsWhat You'll Bring:2–4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related rolesHands-on experience with AWS services, particularly ECS, EKS, and EC2Experience writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using TerraformExperience with monitoring/observability tools, especially GrafanaFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)Experience with containerization (Docker)Working knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentalsScripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)Can independently handle day-to-day infrastructure and deployment tasksComfortable debugging issues across application and infrastructure layersTakes ownership of services (e.g., a cluster, pipeline, or environment)Knows when to escalate complex architectural decisionsProactively identifies reliability, performance, and cost improvementsExperience applying AI to DevOps practices, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD optimization, incident investigation, observability, and operational efficiency.It's A Bonus If You Have:Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production (EKS)Familiarity with Prometheus or other metrics backends used with GrafanaExperience with AWS IAM, networking (VPCs, security groups), and load balancingExposure to autoscaling, high availability, and fault-tolerant system designExperience with blue/green or canary deploymentsUnderstanding of cost monitoring and optimization in AWSInterview Process:At Trulioo, we strive to create an interview experience that is transparent, engaging, and respectful of your time.
