What You'll Do

• Support clinical interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist using evidence-based practices.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments for patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders.
• Administer procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate treatment adjustments to supervisors.
• Document all treatments, progress notes, and clinical information in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with the care team, involving families and caregivers as appropriate.
• Support student supervision and adhere to all regulatory and professional standards.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development activities.

What You Need

• Active State Licensure/Registration for Occupational Therapy Assistant
• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation standards necessary for compliance
• Commitment to ethical practice, adhering to NBCOT / AOTA codes and state practice acts
