divh2Job Title/h2pThe position analyzes operational effectiveness across all the organizations Workers Compensation (WC) teams to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement./ppResponsibilities typically include problem definition, evaluation of requirements and implementation of systems and/or process to meet business user requirements. The Senior Business Analyst will lead requirements gathering, process design, and solution delivery for both routine and ad hoc initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives./ppWhat you will do:/pulliInterviews process owners and documents current state processes for inclusion in business requirements./liliProvides process solution recommendations with short- and long-term goals in mind./liliIdentifies and analyzes trends in system errors or required enhancements related to the WC function./liliAssesses impact of improvements in partnership with WC leadership team to strategize and prioritize key improvements going forward./liliExecutes recurring operational analyses and reporting while delivering ad hoc insights and one-off projects to address emerging business needs./liliSupports business activities by planning and designing complex business processes./liliEscalates issues as needed, and verifies solution meets requirements by assisting with user acceptance testing of fix or enhancement./liliStays abreast industry best practices to effectively recommend effective enhancements and design for business systems and processes./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./liliComply with all policies and standards./li/ulpEducation Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred/li/ulpExperience Qualifications:/pulliTypically 5+ years of experience in project management, operational process documentation and improvement, or related required./lili5+ years of Risk Management experience in relevant industry./li/ulpSkills and Abilities:/pulliDemonstrated knowledge of comprehensive workers compensation function including pricing, operations, classification, mitigation and claims management./liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel knowledge; ability to leverage BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL for data analysis and reporting./liliStrong aptitude for learning new technologies and utilizing project management applications./liliAbility to manage projects and facilitate team interactions, employing sound change management principles./liliDemonstrated knowledge of business analysis methodology and tools./liliAbility to perform complex trend and variance analyses to quantify operational and financial impact./liliStrong consultative skills; ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, accurately, and tactfully./liliSolid presentation and facilitation skills./liliMust be highly organized, able to effectively prioritize work, be oriented to detail, and have excellent follow through./li/ulpLicenses and Certifications:/pulliARM (Associate in Risk Management) designation or active progress toward achieving, preferred/liliSix Sigma preferred/liliAgile/Scrum Training/Certification preferred/li/ulpTravel Requirements:/pulliSome travel required as needed/li/ulpWork Environment:/pulliWork in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office or home setting. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta.
