This inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry unit provides structured psychiatric services for pediatric patients requiring evaluation, stabilization, and ongoing treatment. The unit is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes registered nurses, medical assistants, and advanced practice clinicians to facilitate coordinated care delivery. Locum tenens coverage is sought to maintain continuity of psychiatric services within this dedicated inpatient environment.

The clinician will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents during day shift hours, with a daily caseload consisting of approximately 8 follow-up patients and 1 new evaluation. Clinical responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for a pediatric patient population. Call coverage is required for this position, with a call ratio of 1:1. Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and prescriptive authority are required.
