Personal Injury Paralegal
Schedule : Schedule : Part-time, 20 hrs/week (could be 5 days/week, 4 hrs/day, or could be 2.5 days, flexible)
Pay Range : $35
Duration : Contract-to-perm position for the right fit
Location : San Jose, CA 95112
Position Overview: Handle all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through resolution, including:
- Client intake and correspondence
- Coordinate and assist with medical treatment
- Collect and organize medical records
- Manage deadlines
- Schedule court appearances and depositions
- Drafting, propounding, and responding to discovery
- Draft initial pleadings
- Ongoing client communication
- Supporting the attorney, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage complex procedural information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Word Perfect
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
