Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar support role in an educational setting
• Ability to follow teacher guidance and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
• Strong communication skills—comfortable working with students, staff, and families
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability when assisting children of varied backgrounds and abilities
• Reliable organizational skills and attention to detail for recordkeeping and daily tasks
• Flexibility to assist across age groups and subject areas as directed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students, individually or in small groups
• Assist classroom teachers by preparing materials, tracking student progress, and managing activities
• Help maintain a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere
• Support students with special needs in developing academic, social, and life skills
• Encourage active student engagement and reinforce positive behaviors
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and collaborative planning sessions
