At Holding Hands, our Behavior Technician team delivers impactful, one-on-one care that helps children, adolescents and adults grow, develop, and thrive. As a Behavior Technician, you'll provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across Clinic, Home, Community, and School settings while being supported by experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a collaborative clinical team.

Compensation & Benefits for Behavior Technician

•$23-$25/hour Direct Therapy rate • $300 sign-on bonus • Fully paid training (no experience required) • RBT certification support + exam reimbursement • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance • 401(k) with company match • Flexible part-time schedules (15–30 hours/week) • Mileage reimbursement between sessions • Clear career path: Behavior Technician → Mid-level→ BCBA

Key Responsibilities as a Behavior Technician

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy as a Behavior Technician • Implement treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) • Support skill development, communication, and independence • Collect and track client data accurately • Collaborate with BCBAs and clinical team members • Build strong, supportive relationships with clients and families

Behavior Technician Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older • High school diploma or GED required • Reliable transportation required • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of ABA • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About Holding Hands OpCo LLC

Holding Hands was founded in 2003. We currently have 5 clinics based throughout LA County (Burbank, Calabasas, Los Angeles, Whittier, & Rosemead), plus we are opening at least 4 additional clinics this year! We serve over 1,500 neurodiverse individuals in the home, school, clinic, and community per week. We serve children, teens, and adults with various neurodiverse diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Anxiety, OCD, and related developmental and mental health needs. What differentiates us is our interdisciplinary and person-centered approach. With multiple modalities accessible, we can better support our clients and families' individual needs and provide training opportunities in different modalities. We provide ABA, Social Skills Groups, Modified Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Counseling and DIR®/ Floortime™ We take a person-centered approach and focuses on the child's strengths and individual differences, while developing an intervention plan that addresses his or her unique profile.
