Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

A leading acute care hospital just outside Boston is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a full-time inpatient locum assignment beginning October 2026.

Location: Newton

Position Highlights
General Cardiology inpatient only
Acute Care Hospital setting
Scheduled coverage only NO CALL
Full-time Monday Friday schedule
4x10s 8:00a 6:30p
No block scheduling

Team Structure
Work alongside 2 3 PAs and 1 attending physician
Consult service supporting the hospitalist team
No dedicated cardiac unit

Clinical Responsibilities
New cardiology consults and follow-up visits
Inpatient management and care coordination
No procedures required
Mix of direct patient care and interdisciplinary coordination

Systems
Epic EMR required

Requirements
Cardiology NP experience required
Board Certification required
Active Massachusetts license required
ACLS & BLS required
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Epic experience required
Willing to license: No

Credentialing Timeline
Standard credentialing: 2 4 months
