Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Support staff: 10 MDs, 4 PAs
Schedule Details: Monday- Friday; 4x10s from 8a-6:30PM

Work Details:
Practice Setting: hospital
EMR/Charting Software: epic
Avg. Daily Census: 5-6
Patient Age Group: adult

Requirements:
State License(s): MA
Credentialing Timeframe: Standard is 3 - 6 months. Depending on volume at MSO. They are targeting about 180 days currently.

General Cardiology Inpatient only. The reason for the need is Maternity Leave starting August 1. The staffing coverage is 2 or 3 PAs with 1 attending physician. The locum would be seeing new consults and follow ups. No procedures. The consult service is for hospitalist team. There is no dedicated cardiac unit. There is a mix of patient care and care coordination.
