Warehouse Material Handler

Position Description Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler to support our Facility at Ryder in Spring Hill, TN! Pay & Benefits Pay: $23.04 per hour, plus $1.25 per hour when working 2nd shift Products Handled: Automotive parts and supplies Equipment Used: Powered Industrial Material Handling equipment such as forklift, tuggers, pallet jacks, etc. Warehouse positions pay each week On‑job paid training Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) and other benefits start at 30 days Paid Time Off 401(k) company match 15% employee discount on high‑valued stock Additional employee discounts on tools, cars, hotels, electronics/appliances, cell phones, travel, and more Safety gear provided Safety is always the first priority State‑of‑the‑art equipment and caring leadership Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred Valid Forklift Operator's License certified Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to function in a diverse work environment Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization Highly thorough and dependable Must be punctual and have a good attendance record Works independently with minimal supervision Possesses a high degree of initiative Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work using health and safety methods Must be available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, and/or customer‑specific background checks or badging. Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting Carry out duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products for loading and unloading of trucks Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading) Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production Perform other duties as assigned.
