We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join a growing team in Portland, OR. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, blasting, and painting structural steel for a variety of large-scale industrial and construction projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare structural steel surfaces through blasting, cleaning, and coating preparation.
• Perform sandblasting to remove rust, mill scale, and contaminants.
• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications.
• Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment, including airless spray systems.
• Assist with pre-paint and post-paint operations.
• Safely move and handle materials throughout the facility.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Industrial Painter, Sandblaster, or Coating Applicator.
• Experience with sandblasting and surface preparation.
• Knowledge of industrial paint systems and coating applications.
• Experience using airless spray equipment.
• Ability to mix coatings accurately and follow paint specifications.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with structural steel.
• Previous experience in a fabrication, heavy industrial, or construction setting.
• Familiarity with industrial paint operations and quality control standards.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
