Job Description
- Locatio n: Portland Metro Area (PDX and surrounding areas)
- Compensation: $25/hour
Seeking a reliable and experienced painter to assist with a variety of interior and exterior projects throughout the Portland metro area. This role involves hands-on work in all phases of residential painting, from surface preparation to final coat application.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough prep work including sanding, masking, caulking, patching, and priming
- Apply paint using brush and roller with clean, consistent results
- Assist with or perform spray painting when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow project timelines and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with the contractor and team members
- Minimum of 2 years of residential painting experience
- Proficiency with prep work, brush and roller techniques; spray experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation to travel to job sites throughout the PDX area
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual, dependable, and professional
Schedule:
Hours may vary depending on project needs and weather conditions (for exterior work).
