Florida Kidney Physicians is seeking a passionate and dedicated BC/BE Nephrologistto join their team! As part of a nationwide, physician-led organization, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional, evidence-based kidney care while enjoying the autonomy to shape your career. Hiring Package:

• $275,000 starting salary
• Up to 25,000 sign-on bonus
• 4 weeks PTO + 1 week CME annually
• No buy-in practice partnership opportunity after two years

Schedule/Practice Details:

• 1:6 weekend call (Fri, Sat, Sun call coverage)
• 4-day workweeks: each physician is expected to fill 25 daily slots/100 weekly [new patients = 2 slots, follow-up patients = 1 slot] with a cap of 5 new patients per day
• 7 tenured physician practice w/ 8 APPs
• APPs: 2 hospital-based, 2 PT weekends only; 4 office based
• Two team approach - Team A and Team B - Team A covers clinic one week, while Team B covers hospital, then they switch every week
• All profits are equally allocated (based on individual FTE) amongst partners and medical directors accordingly
• Immediate patient base for new providers
• Florida Kidney Physicians - Space Coast is the only nephrology practice covering entire southside of county
• 3 physicians and 2 APPs cover 7 hospitals - census typically 3-5 pts at most of hospitals with ~85% at the main large hospital; total census 80-100/day
• ~22% of patients on home dialysis
