Assistant Manager, Retail & Operations

Summary The Assistant Manager, Retail & Operations is a key member of the North America Retail Innovation team responsible for executing and operating new retail concepts including stores, pop-ups, and concessions. The role combines store support, retail technology ownership, data management, and digital content responsibilities to deliver a luxury omnichannel client experience. Responsibilities Maintain store opening operations tracker and manage key dates and deliverables across openings and activations. Provide post-opening hyper care and on-site retail support, including one week per month in boutique to strengthen team expertise. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, visual merchandising changes, and security coverage with field teams. Manage supply, hospitality, packaging, tools ordering, and opening orders for sellable and non-sellable product and gratis. Lead retail technology operations including POS setup and sync, PowerBI analytics, clienteling platforms, and IoT systems support. Ensure smooth retail data flows, troubleshoot issues with IT, and coordinate UAT and system fixes. Own digital retail resource sites and improve UX/UI and digitalization of operational content. Coordinate and optimize D2C door-to-door sales logistics and digital/physical trail reconciliation; travel up to 25% as required. Requirements 3+ years of retail operations experience, preferably in beauty, fragrances, D2C, or luxury retail. Experience with POS and inventory systems, PowerBI, clienteling platforms, and performing UAT. Knowledge of retail inventory management, luxury supply chain, data architecture, and analytics-driven process improvement. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; entrepreneurial, hands‑on approach. Ability to work full-time with varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be available to work in New York City. #J-18808-Ljbffr
