Medical Office Receptionist with Insurance Specialty

Experienced Receptionist/Telephone Attendant for The Eye Clinic of Florida in Zephyrhills Job Summary: Manage the incoming calls, insurance verification, medial records while performing check in/out functions in an ophthalmic clinic. Medical or ophthalmology office experience preferred. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong organizational skills to handle phones, registration, check out and posting charges. We are looking for a friendly team member who can handle a higher volume position with confidence and professionalism. This opening is a full time, Non-Exempt position. Keys To Success In This Role: Field and direct calls in a medical office Warm friendly personality with a genuine smile and compassion. Schedule appointments, collecting all necessary data with accuracy Collect and process any payments due. Must have experience with and knowledge of insurance how insurance works and is filed. Post some vision and medical billing charges.
