Emergency Room Registered Nurse

The ER RN is responsible for providing high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires delivering immediate assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients with urgent medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and observe for any changes in condition, responding promptly.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures and ongoing health management.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid CA State RN license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess ACLS, BLS, PALS, and STABLE certifications with current expiration dates.
• Have at least 2 years of current ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
