• Evaluate results thoroughly for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated effectively.
• Assist in specimen procurement and preparation for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document processes, mentor new staff or trainees, and contribute to the laboratory's accreditation and quality assurance standards.
• Uphold a pristine, secure work environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent healthcare qualification alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) achieved within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
