PCU RN - Critical Care Flex Pool

The position requires a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. The RN will care for high acuity patients with complex needs. Experience with various cardiac conditions and drips is essential. The RN is expected to manage and interpret dysrhythmias independently. Floating to other units may be required based on patient care needs. The facility emphasizes adherence to quality and patient safety standards. All employees engage in interdisciplinary support and collaboration. This role supports a diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics. The unit roster includes high acuity traumas, post-surgical patients, and medical cases. A VAT assists with difficult IV placements within the unit. The average patient ratio is approximately 3-4 patients per nurse on night shifts. Candidates must be available to work during designated holiday periods. Additional requirements include compliance with facility protocols and procedures. Orientation modules are expected to be completed during the first week.
