Job Opportunity

Position: PCU RN - Critical Care/MST Flex Pool

Shift Information

• Schedule: 3x12 Hours Nights (19:00 - 07:00)
• Ratios: 3-4 patients to 1 RN

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid participating compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac drips (no vasopressors) required
• Ability to manage and interpret dysrhythmias required
• RNs must be able to read and interpret their own cardiac strips

Floating Requirements

Travelers will float to any of the following units:

• MS TELE Units
• Cardiac Monitoring Room

Unit Details

This Progressive Care Unit (PCU) cares for a variety of high acuity patients, including:

• Level I trauma patients
• Post-bariatric surgery patients
• General surgical and medical patients with complex needs

Clinical Skills Required

• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Chest tube management
• Post Cardiac Procedure management
• Telemetry monitoring
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Additionally, experience with various protocols related to cardiac care and medications

Job Requirements

• Candidates must be willing to float without restrictions to various units as needed
• Weekend shifts are required as needed based on unit needs
