Electrician - Brownsville, TX (Starbase Project)

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour

Per Diem: $125/day for travelers living 75+ miles from the project site

Location: Onsite | Brownsville, TX

We are actively seeking experienced Electricians to support a large-scale industrial construction project in Brownsville, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex electrical systems, contribute to critical infrastructure, and be part of a skilled team focused on quality, safety, and project success.

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and commission industrial electrical systems
• Perform conduit installation and bending, cable tray installation, duct bank work, and cable pulling
• Complete 480V terminations and electrical equipment connections
• Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, meggers, ammeters, and other testing equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and work packages
• Assist with system startup, energization, commissioning, and project closeout activities
• Follow all safety protocols, including NFPA 70E, LOTO, grounding, and PPE requirements

• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction experience
• Experience with conduit, cable trays, duct banks, cable installation, wiring, and terminations
• Strong troubleshooting and electrical testing abilities
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documentation
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand and power tools
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

This is a hands-on role in an active industrial construction setting. Candidates should be comfortable with:

• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Working at heights, on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment as needed
• Working overtime, weekends, night shifts, and adjusted schedules based on project demands

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
