Daybright is currently seeking an OnBase WorkView Developer to join our Private Segment. Be part of a team of thought leaders and seasoned benefits and retirement planning professionals.

Role Summary

We are seeking an ECM Developer to support, administer, enhance, and modernize enterprise content management and automation platforms. This role will focus on Hyland OnBase administration, upgrades and platform lifecycle management, Hyland Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), workflow development, WorkView development, integrations, automation, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

The ideal candidate will bring a balanced combination of advanced OnBase administration and development expertise, the ability to independently support enterprise OnBase environments and platform upgrades, and the aptitude to quickly understand retirement administration and financial services business processes.

Primary focus areas include OnBase administration, OnBase upgrades and platform lifecycle management, CIC/IDP adoption, platform health, operational continuity, integrations, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

\n
• Platform administration and support: Administer, configure, monitor, and support Hyland OnBase environments using Configuration, Studio, Unity Client, Web Client, and related administration tools; maintain platform health, performance, services, integrations, access, and operational stability.
\n
• Upgrade and lifecycle management: Support OnBase upgrades, patching, release testing, change management, deployment coordination, environment readiness, and platform lifecycle activities across development, test, staging, and production environments.
\n
• Operational continuity and resiliency: Support platform continuity, disaster recovery readiness, issue resolution, and resiliency planning. Coordinate with Hyland Support, Hyland Professional Services, implementation partners, and internal technology teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, plan upgrades, and maintain platform stability. Manage vendor support cases and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive issue resolution and platform improvements.

• Platform monitoring and operational ownership: Monitor platform performance, services, integrations, background processes, and system health to ensure reliable operation of ECM solutions. Identify and address performance, stability, scalability, and maintainability concerns before they impact business operations. Perform proactive platform maintenance and support activities to improve reliability and reduce operational risk.

• Platform architecture and governance: Contribute to ECM platform architecture, configuration governance, environment standards, technical roadmaps, and long-term platform sustainability.
\n
• CIC and intelligent document processing adoption: Support and help drive adoption of Hyland Content Innovation Cloud and Intelligent Document Processing capabilities, including document classification, OCR, intelligent indexing, data extraction, validation, and document automation.
\n
• Workflow and WorkView development: Design, configure, optimize, and support OnBase workflows, WorkView applications, case management solutions, forms, and related process automation capabilities.
\n
• Integrations and automation: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot OnBase integrations, automation services, scripts, APIs, database interactions, and related technical components that support enterprise ECM and workflow automation.
\n
• Business partnership: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand retirement administration, financial services, and operational processes; translate requirements into scalable ECM and automation solutions.
\n
• Documentation and knowledge transfer: Reduce key-person dependency by documenting configurations, support procedures, troubleshooting techniques, upgrade processes, administration standards, runbooks, and recovery procedures. Establish and maintain documentation that enables effective support coverage across ECM team members.
\n
• Technical leadership, mentoring, and support coverage: Provide troubleshooting support, knowledge sharing, and practical technical guidance to reduce dependency on individual subject matter experts and strengthen long-term platform support. Mentor and cross-train ECM team members on OnBase administration, platform support, Workflow, WorkView, CIC, and ECM best practices.

Required Skills/Experience

\n
• 5+ years of enterprise Hyland OnBase administration, development, and support experience OR Hyland OnBase System Administration certification with demonstrated enterprise administration experience.
\n
• Experience using and administering OnBase through Configuration, Studio, Unity Client, Web Client, and related administration tools.
\n
• Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to production OnBase upgrades, platform updates, environment validation, testing, and deployment activities.
\n
• Experience with OnBase workflows, WorkView applications, forms, document management solutions, or related platform components.
\n
• Experience with OnBase modules and services such as DIP, DRIP, AFKS, MIKS, Unity Timer, Hyland Mailbox Importer, Hyland Sweep Service, DocPop, App Enabler, or similar tools.
\n
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
\n
• Working knowledge of integration technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, C#, APIs, or related tools.
\n
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, identity provider concepts, security groups, authentication, and access control concepts.
\n
• Ability to troubleshoot enterprise application issues across application, infrastructure, database, security, integration, and vendor support teams.
\n
• Ability to develop clear technical documentation, support procedures, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
\n
• Experience using remote administration tools to support enterprise application environments.
\n

Preferred Skills

\n
• Experience with Hyland Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) strongly preferred.
\n
• Candidates without CIC experience must demonstrate the ability, aptitude, and willingness to rapidly learn and support CIC capabilities.
\n
• Experience with document classification, OCR, intelligent indexing, data extraction, validation, and document automation technologies is highly desirable.
\n
• Experience in retirement plan administration, 401(k) recordkeeping, pension administration, financial services, banking, wealth management, or insurance.
\n
• Ability to quickly learn regulated retirement administration, financial services, and related operational processes.
\n
• Understanding of BPMN, process documentation, and business process analysis techniques.
\n
• Hyland OnBase Workflow certification or 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting OnBase Workflow solutions.
\n
• Hyland OnBase WorkView certification or 3+ years of experience designing and implementing OnBase WorkView applications.
\n
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in C#, with experience developing enterprise applications, integrations, or automation solutions.
\n
• Advanced SQL and relational database skills, including data analysis, troubleshooting, and integration support.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional partnership in support of scalable ECM and automation solutions.
