\nPosition Overview
\n*We are seeking experienced Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) with strong hands-on expertise in full-stack .NET development and Microsoft Azure.
\n*This role requires a highly technical, client-facing engineer who can rapidly understand complex business and technical requirements, design practical solutions, and build and deploy scalable enterprise applications.
\n*The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, full-stack development, APIs, enterprise integrations, and Azure cloud technologies.
\n*The successful candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments while maintaining high standards for architecture, security, scalability, and software quality.
\n \nKey Responsibilities:
\nClient-Facing Technical Discovery & Solution Delivery:
\n*Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
\n*Participate in technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and solution design workshops.
\n*Analyze complex business and technical challenges and develop practical implementation approaches.
\n*Clearly communicate technical trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and solution recommendations to stakeholders.
\n*Hands-On Full-Stack .NET Development
\n*Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Core.
\n*Build scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
\n*Develop and support full-stack applications across frontend and backend components.
\n*Write clean, maintainable, secure, and production-quality code.
\n*Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and performance issues.
\n*Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
\n*Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineering
\n*Design, build, deploy, and support applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
\n*Develop cloud-native and scalable application architectures.
\n*Work with Azure application hosting, storage, networking, security, monitoring, and related cloud services.
\n*Support automated deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
\n*Ensure applications meet requirements for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
\n \nEnterprise Integration & Solution Architecture:
\n*Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems, applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
\n*Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and web services.
\n*Work with distributed systems, data services, authentication, authorization, and enterprise identity solutions.
\n*Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
\n*Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to key technical design decisions.
\n \nForward-Deployed Engineering & Collaboration:
\n*Work directly with stakeholders and technical teams in a client-facing delivery environment.
\n*Rapidly understand existing systems, technical constraints, and business priorities.
\n*Deliver working solutions quickly while maintaining production-quality engineering standards.
\n*Collaborate effectively with product managers, architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
\n*Support technical demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions.
\n \nProduction Readiness & Engineering Excellence:
\n*Implement logging, monitoring, observability, and robust error-handling capabilities.
\n*Ensure appropriate security, access controls, auditability, and compliance requirements.
\n*Build automated tests and maintain strong software quality standards.
\n*Support performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
\n*Develop reusable components, frameworks, and engineering patterns to improve delivery efficiency.
\n \nRequired Qualifications:
\n*10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
\n*Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
\n*Extensive experience with ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET Core.
\n*Strong full-stack development experience, including frontend and backend development.
\n*Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
\n*Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
\n*Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
\n*Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
\n*Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
\n*Strong knowledge of CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
\n*Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization skills.
\n*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders.
\n*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
\n \nPreferred Qualifications:
\n*Experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer, consulting, professional services, solutions engineering, or client-facing engineering role.
\n*Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and complex technology environments.
\n*Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
\n*Experience with Azure DevOps.
\n*Experience with microservices and distributed application architectures.
\n*Experience with enterprise security, identity, authentication, and authorization.
\n*Experience integrating applications with enterprise platforms and systems.
\n*Knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
\n*Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
\n*Experience with application monitoring, observability, logging, and production support.
\n*Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
