Hotel Yountville 6462 Washington St Yountville, CA 94599, USA Position Summary - Pay Range $16.90 - $17.34/hour The Esthetician is responsible for providing quality professional service in the administration of esthetic and body treatments to guests of the Spa. Essential Functions Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. Must participate in all hotel required meetings and trainings. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag. Must be able to perform various facial treatments as stated on the Spa Menu. Must be able to perform a variety of skin treatments based on the requirements of the Spa Menu. Must be proficient in all components of skin care; i.e. anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, etc. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order. Prepare treatment rooms, clean after each treatment, and maintain inventory levels of linens and supplies. Promote and sell Spa approved facial and body products. Check appointment schedule and print daily activities as required as well as complete daily reports. Ensure inventory control through proper usage of products. Maintain passing scores on treatment inspections. Abide by all hotel policies and safety rules. Perform other duties as requested by management. Qualifications Current DCA license is required. Working Conditions and Schedule Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Medium work – Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for up to 7 hours per day. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Exposure to certain chemicals.
