About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Open to floating between units - Strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience preferred Description: This position involves working as a Registered Nurse in a flex pool setting. The nurse will float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed. Shift is three 12-hour nights from 7 PM to 7 AM. The patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:4 to 1:5. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend. An active and unrestricted RN license or valid compact license is required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. The role requires well-rounded travelers comfortable floating to various units. Strong experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing is highly valued. The units are equipped with standard medical-surgical and telemetry equipment. All employees must adhere to quality and patient safety standards. Candidates must be prepared to work during recognized holidays. Additional requirements may be applicable based on unit needs. Travel experience is appreciated but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate skills in telemetry and management of dysrhythmias.
