Assistant Professor of Communication

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Of Communication Middle Georgia State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of communication to join our growing and student-centered media and communication program. The successful candidate will teach human communication, public speaking and other introductory courses that focus on mass communication, social media, and news writing. Upper-level courses will include communication theory, persuasion, media ethics and criticism, intercultural communication and more to support the bachelor’s degree in media and communication. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to teach graduate courses to support the master’s degree in public relations. This position involves teaching a 4/4 load, scholarship, and service.
