Shift:
1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
May require mandatory overtime on Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer / Truss Assembler to join a manufacturing team that produces engineered wood trusses for residential and commercial construction. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to specifications and blueprints
- Measure, cut, and position lumber and components accurately
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely
- Assist with material handling, loading, and staging of finished products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Must have a stable work history and the ability to follow instructions
- Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and fractions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment
Work Environment & Requirements:
- Climate-controlled facility
- Standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks required
- Hands-on production setting
- PPE required: steel-toed boots/shoes and safety glasses
- Dress code required: long pants and long-sleeve shirt
