Business Development Representative

About the Role As a Business Sales Development Representative, you will identify and engage prospective customers, create new business opportunities, and support the continued growth of our sales organization. What You'll Do Prospect and engage potential customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels. Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers. Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and business challenges. Schedule qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team. Build and nurture relationships with prospective customers through consistent follow-up. Maintain accurate activity and pipeline information in our CRM. Collaborate with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities. Attend industry events and networking opportunities. Continuously expand your knowledge of transportation, supply chain, and customer business challenges. What We’re Looking For Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated drive and work ethic Curiosity and a desire to learn Resilience in the face of challenges and rejection Discipline, accountability, and follow-through Positive attitude and growth mindset Ability to build relationships and earn trust Competitive spirit Preferred, But Not Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Previous sales or transportation experience is helpful, but not required Experience in recruiting, customer service, hospitality, retail, fundraising, athletics, military service, or other customer-facing environments Experience with prospecting, networking, or business development Who Thrives Here?
