Restaurant Shift Supervisor

Position: Shift Supervisor – Peter Piper Pizza Overview Shift Supervisor supports daily operations, ensuring a high‑quality guest experience, coaching team members, and driving profitability. Key Responsibilities Open and close the restaurant following established checklists. Ensure profitability through sales, labor cost control, and food waste management. Model and reinforce guest hospitality expectations. Train, coach, and develop Team Members. Ensure all Team Members adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain a safe working environment for all Team Members and guests. Assign daily tasks to Team Members and follow up on completion. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age (per local law for selling, ringing up, checking identification, and serving alcohol). High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six months of supervisory, lead, or training experience (preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry) or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Essential Job Functions & Work Environment Ability to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during the scheduled shift. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during the scheduled shift. Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co‑workers. Work environment includes flashing or flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises.
